Be part of the fight to help save men's lives
One in two men will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85.
It could be you.
It could be your best mate.
We're asking all players from all codes to help us tackle cancer. Wear a yellow armband and raise funds this July for the fight against cancer in men.
Simply nominate a date in July for your Call To Arms match and register your club.

This weeks Health message is:
Physical Activity
Step up and get active.
30 minutes of training a day can help reduce your cancer risk. 60 minutes would be even better.
Top Code
This weeks top code is AFL with soccer not too far behind.
Come on guys...you now you want to beat them...get everyone in your code involved and boost your numbers now.
Nutritional Tips
You need to keep your insides well in order for your outside to function and this means eating healthy.
Essendon Football Club dietician Benita Lalor will help you perform at your peak each and every week. Today Benita talks about what foods to eat before a game to maximise your performance.
- Eat carbohydrate rich, low fat choices such as sandwiches, tomato based pastas and fruit. Foods high in carbs and natural sugars quickly convert into energy.
- Avoid protein before a match and choose familiar foods that are easy to digest.
- When you arrive at the ground, start eating sports foods and fluids such as energy drinks and electrolyte gels.
- During the game, it's important to match your sweat rate with fluid intake to avoid dehydration. Keep the carbohydrates up by sipping sports drink and gels to ensure your muscles and brain perform at their best.
Club News
Keith football, netball & hockey clubs and Border Downs Tintinara Football Club will don yellow armbands to support awareness of men's cancer during their Call To Arms matches on July 24. The event has been organised by the Keith Area School's Active8 group who felt that the promotion of men's health was lacking. Alongside the matches they have organised donation tins at various business around the town. A great initiative by the group.
